Cole Ruckstuhl

I'm a commercial single- and multi-engine pilot based in Lafayette, Louisiana. My flying spans specialized instruction, owner-directed contract operations, and cross-country missions.

I bring years of technology leadership and public-service experience to the flight deck—experience that shaped my approach to preparation, communication, and sound operational decisions.

Today, I work directly with aircraft owners and fellow pilots as a Cirrus Training Center Instructor, contract pilot, and operational support resource. I continue to build experience toward a long-term career in professional aviation.

Training Center Instructor.

As an experienced Cirrus Training Center Instructor (TCI), I work with aircraft owners and pilots in the SR20, SR22, and SR22T through a Cirrus Authorized Training Center. My instruction focuses on aircraft transitions, avionics familiarization, instrument procedures, and practical cross-country operations in complex airspace.

Alongside instruction, my experience includes owner-directed Part 91 contract flying, aircraft repositioning, cross-country missions, and the day-to-day coordination that supports reliable operations.

I have supported aircraft owners with maintenance logistics, avionics database updates, equipment troubleshooting, and other practical tasks that require attention beyond the flight itself.
